Local information.

San Juan de los Terreros is a village with local amenities.   It boasts probably the best  'family friendly' beaches in the region. Terreros also has a small castle which is open during the summer months. The town also has a market on Sunday mornings.

The village has many live attractions during the summer period, some in the plaza and others on the beach and outside of the castle, see tourist information kiosk next to La Venta restaraunt for details.

The large town of Águilas is nearby with its harbour, shopping centre and other facilities. In addition, the plaza is an idyllic place to relax and enjoy a drink and tapas. The 16th century castle in Aguilas is a great place to visit.

Aguilas also has a carnival  6 weeks prior to Easter (Semana Santa) which is similar to the 'Notting Hill" carnival in London. The carnival events consist of several nights during the week.

Vera water park is another popular local attraction for children & adults alike.

The Aguilon Golf course, which was opened in 2008, is only 8km from Terreros. In addition, there are several other golf courses within one hour's drive of Terreros. If you require more information, please do not hesitate to ask.

The resort offer a base for your holiday, close to golden sandy beaches, bars & restaurants or if you wish to venture further, the towns of Águilas, Garrucha, Vera & Mojácar are within easy reach.

In addition there are various activities on the beach, football, canoeing & padel surf etc.
