Casa de José is a beautifully restored Spanish house in a quiet village near Arboleas. It is only about 30 minutes to the Mediterranean coast and about 40 to the resort of Mojácar), 10 minutes from the town of Albox and half a mile from the nearest bar/restaurant. It is beautifully located on the side of the Almanzora valley with views down over orange groves in the valley or up over the almond and olive trees on the hills behind.

The house is spacious and well equipped with all mod cons. There are 4 double bedrooms, through lounge, dining room, kitchen breakfast room, 2 bathrooms and a utility room.

Outside there are gardens, an 8x4 tiled private pool, a netted gazebo for outdoor dining and a car port.

The house has 4 bedrooms (1 king, 2 double and 1 twin) and sleeps up to 8 people. There is a full bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs. It boasts a spacious living room, dining room and well equipped modern kitchen. All rooms have views of the mountains and/or gardens and are provided with free standing fans. Apart from the kitchen/utility and shower room, the house has original beams throughout.

Living room

This is a comfortable, spacious room, with 2 sofas. TV, DVD and video at one end, and a table and a well- stocked bookcase and easy chair at the other. It has views to both front and rear gardens, and over the pool to the mountains beyond.

Dining room

This elegant room (through an arch off the hall) is an atmospheric space for a candelit evening meal, with its original staircase rising from the hall and its traditional furniture. The table seats 8 comfortably. The walls are decorated with hangings from South and Central America.

Kitchen and utility rooms

The modern kitchen has a gas hob and fan oven, microwave, cafetiere, food processor. It has plenty of crockery, glasses pots and pans, wok etc. There is also a dishwasher and fridge in the kitchen and a large fridge freezer and washing machine in the utility room. The kitchen is conveniently placed between the back door (for outdoor eating) and the dining room. There is also a dining table.

Bedroom 1

This spacious ensuite room has a king size double bed, a large built in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. It also has a TV and there is a travel cot stored in the wardrobe. It looks out over the front garden and the hills beyond.

Bedroom 2

This is a good sized room with a double bed and matching wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables. It looks out over the roof terrace to the valley and the mountains beyond.

Bedroom 3

This twin-bedded room has a view over the rear garden and pool and to the mountains beyond. It has matching wardrobe, chest and bedside table.

Bedroom 4

This downstairs room with a double bed,looking out to the front garden, will suit those who prefer to stay on ground level. This is the most popular room with friends who stay. The wardrobe and bedside tables are locally made in a traditional style.
