Situated in tropical gardens, the apartment is close to a lagoon at Vera Playa a largely undiscovered, sun soaked coastal strip between two mountain ranges and the sea.

This first floor, two bedroomed apartment, is located in a securely gated complex with two communal swimming pools and children's pools, set in gardens with walkways of orange and banana trees, bougainvillea, hibiscus, jasmine and palms.

There is a bar/restaurant and supermarket on site, open during summer months, and supermarkets, banks, shops, gym, indoor pool, cycle hire, internet cafe, bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk away.

There are ceiling fans in sitting/dining area and bedrooms. Heaters and addtional fans are also provided. The fridge has a good-sized ice-box for food storage. Cots are available from the complex management at additional charge and should be requested on booking.

Both balcony and sun terrace are private and the latter has 360 degree views of mountains and rooftops.

The wide, sandy, blue-flag beach is only a 5 minute walk with beach bars - 'chiringuitos' open in season.

A water park and driving range are very close and there are four nearby golf courses: Cortijo Grande and Marina Golf at Mojácar, and Valle d'Este and Desert Springs near Vera. You will need your handicap certificate for some of these.

A regular air-conditioned bus service runs along the coast, stopping 70 metres from the complex.

There is a book in the apartment containing further details of local attractions including Mini Hollywood ( Lawrence of Arabia and many spaghetti westerns were filmed here), caves, castle, scuba diving, go karting and mountain villages catering for a full variety of tastes.
